The 150-bed Government Hospital in Jaisalmer was in a deplorable state, neglected and unclean. The initiative cleaned and repaired leaky terraces, toilets and hospital premises, organised blood donation camps, and donated essential medical equipment like wheelchairs and stretchers. In addition, a dedicated ‘I Love Jaisalmer’ ward in the hospital was established.
