In 2018, the project planted 800 trees at Jaisalmer airport, covering 65 acres of barren land. The next year, in 2019, 10 locations—including schools and villages along Sam Road near the Desert National Park—received new trees, aiding the environment in the sandy, arid landscape. In 2021, 'Greening Jaisalmer' revived the degraded community pastureland in Dedandar by planting over 1,500 trees, helping to restore a perennial waterbody and improving the local ecosystem near historic temples. Since then, 9,200 more trees have been planted at rural health centers, schools, colleges, villages, and roadsides in Jaisalmer and peri-urban Jaipur. A similar effort is underway at Chandan Pasture Land, where the local village council transformed 300 bighas of wasteland into a vibrant grassland with 15 native desert grasses. This work has led to the planting of 10,000 trees of 11 native species, fostering biodiversity and reducing carbon footprint. The I Love Foundation is supporting, a community-led plantation initiative launched by Dhun, Jaipur that allows people from around the world to contribute and co-create a forest of 1 million trees in peri-urban/rural Jaipur, Rajasthan.
