In a community-led initiative amidst the COVID pandemic, I Love Jaisalmer led the rehabilitation of Government Health Centre Lodhruva, a remote village located 10 km from Jaisalmer city, which had limited accessibility to public transport and health care.

The healthcare center, serving a population of three villages and one hamlet (Lodhruva, Chundi, Tejwa, Bhilon Ki Dhani) had been non-operational for the past seven years with only one healthcare worker. A community-led intervention by 20 volunteers led to the center resuming its operations during COVID.
